After many years of hard work and dedication, the Historic Spring Ridge Schoolhouse, located at Paradise Park in Powderly KY, is finally getting the renovation it so desperately needs. This iconic piece of our community's history is getting the restoration it deserves, preserving its charm and legacy for our future generations.
Mrs. Marilyn Kirtley's love and dedication along with a very generous benefactor, have made this project possible. We cannot be thankful enough for everyone that has been a part of this extended undertaking!
Renovation work will begin on Monday, September 23, 2024. Unfortunately, this will affect the playground area next to the school. Because of the close proximity causing safety issues, the playgrounds will be closed starting Monday, 09/23, and will remain closed during the renovation process. At this time, we do not have a completion date. We are so sorry for this inconvenience and will update our Facebook page as we go through this process.
