Emergency crews in Muhlenberg County were busy Wednesday afternoon as temperatures reached into the upper 90's. Crews in Graham were dispatched to a reported semi truck & brush fire in the median of the Western Kentucky Parkway around 5:00pm on Wednesday at mile marker 61 westbound. Crews arrived to negative contact but were then dispatched on a similar call at mile marker 45 westbound. No fire was found and units cleared shortly after.
Greenville police were busy as well on Wednesday. Emergency crews were called out for a side-swipe accident in the 2800 block of Highway 171 Wednesday afternoon. One patient was treated. A head-on collision in front of the Greenville United Methodist Church shut down North Main Street for a while early Wednesday evening. One patient was sent to Baptist Health Madisonville for treatment.
